What's the story behind this web site?
ihats.biz is part of a bigger hat company that has been around since the 1970’s. As a result of this, most hats are stocked, so it does not take over a couple of days, to have the hat(s) ready for shipping. There are exceptions, but rest assured that you will be contacted if there is an issue.

If I decide to pay by credit card, when does the card actually get charged?
Your credit card is not charged until the hat is acutally ready to be ship. This makes it much easier to process, and it keeps your card from being charged in the event a particular hat may be on back order.

What information is needed to place an order?
You will need the billing address of the credit card, along with the shipping address. Be advised, because of credit card fraud, it is highly recommended that the two addresses be the same. An exception would be if you have a PO Box for the credit card, and you live at a different address, within the same area. If you wish the merchandise to be sent to someone else, you may send in a money order, and once received, the merchandise would be shipped to the address of your choosing.
In addition to the address, an email address is needed, along with a phone number. As a final note, in the event you need the merchandise fairly quickly, you will need to indicate this.

What is the typical delivery time?
Plan on about a week, in order to get the hat sent out to you. Most likely the hat will go within a couple of days, of you placing the order, but there are times when it may take longer. Once sent, the hat should only take about five working days, at the most, to get to you. The standard shipping is UPS Ground.

Is the site associated with a virtual company, or a physical company?
This site is associated with a physical hat company, which means inventory is mostly stocked, but at times, there may be exceptions.

What shipping options are available?
The standard shipping is UPS ground, depending on where the hat is being shipped. In the event you wish the hat to be shipped a faster way, place a note with the order, and you will be contacted, via email, to let you know if possible, and how much the cost will be. There are options to have the hat(s) shipped via various UPS methods, but be advised the charges are an estimate, and may not reflect the final cost of shipping. A sample of the shipping rates, are as follows: Up to $80, the shipping cost, for regular shipping is $10.00. Up to $100, the shipping cost, for regular shipping is $13.00. Up to $150, the shipping cost, for regular shipping is $18.00.

How are foreign orders processed, and is there anything I need to know about foreign orders?
With foreign orders, once the order has been placed into the system, and it has been received, by us, the cost to ship the hat to you, will be determined, and you will be contacted via email. When you are contacted, the email will let you know the shipping cost, along with an estimated time to get to you. At this point in time, in the event you wish to proceed, I will request some further information, that you will be required to provide. Be advised, the US Post Office is the most likely candidate to ship foreign orders, and they do not guarantee anything. UPS is an option, but the cost is very high.

How does a person pay, if using a Money Order, or a Cashiers Check?
In the event, when you place an order, that you indicate that you wish to pay via money order, or cashiers check, make sure you place you’re email address on the order, and I will drop you a line, that indicates who the money order, or cashiers check should be made out to. The payment will be mailed to PO Box 7507, Wilmington, DE. 19803.
